AHLA Foundation Names Anti-Trafficking Campaign Head


The American Resort & Lodging Association Foundation, the charitable arm of the AHLA, has appointed anti-human trafficking specialist Eliza McCoy as VP of awareness and prevention courses, the basis declared Monday. 

In this freshly made placement, McCoy will grow AHLA Foundation’s No Home for Trafficking campaign, which is the industry’s nationwide initiative to conclusion human trafficking. One of the aims of the marketing campaign is to ensure each individual member lodge worker is trained to place and quit trafficking. 

Prior to joining the AHLA Foundation, McCoy served as an executive director at the Countrywide Heart for Lacking & Exploited Small children, director of functions and enhancement for the Middle for Alexandria’s Children and the director of promoting and engagement for the Global Centre for Missing & Exploited Small children. She has labored as a non-revenue leader with know-how in legislation enforcement, system-centered fundraising, interaction and growth, in accordance to the foundation.

McCoy will also lead an exertion to establish a survivors’ fund for human trafficking victims.
