Mental health is a state of emotional & psychological well-being. Good mental health can greatly improve a person’s quality of life, while poor mental health can lead to feelings of sadness, guilt, or shame & anxiety.
As your mental health deteriorates, your physical health follows. In the long run, the stress of dealing with a mental illness can cause more harm to your body than any outside stimuli.
Try to look at problems from different perspectives. This way you’ll be able to see if there is anything you can do yourself, or if you should ask for help from others.
Practice mindful meditation. Focus on your breath & allow thoughts to come & go.
People as a society need to start respecting mental health issues as important as physical illness & have coverage for mental illness just like we do for physical illnesses.
